35Who can separate us from the love of Christ?
Can affliction or anguish or persecution
or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36As it is written:
Because of You
we are being put to death all day long;
we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.
37No, in all these things we are more than victorious
through Him who loved us.
38For I am persuaded that not even death or life,
angels or rulers,
things present or things to come, hostile powers,
39height or depth, or any other created thing
will have the power to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!
Romans 8:35-39
Prayer Warriors:
As you read these verses above, we are going to see Who or What can separate us from the LOVE of Christ.
The who is the ( enemy or even ourselves) can separate us from the LOVE of Christ. Not just separate us from Christ, but His LOVE. That's why Paul goes on, can affiliation or anguish or persecution....Then we start having a battle in our minds, then if God is for me, then why am I going through this. Then He must not LOVE me.
If the enemy can separate you from God's LOVE, then he has succeeded. That's why so many of our children or love one's, have walk away because they have believed, what the enemy has told them. Our circumstance becomes greater then God's Love for us.
We take verse 37, and we say NO! I will have victory over this situation, our children will live the life, they were created to live. My love one will live, a transform life. I will live a life of victory! I know my God loves me and my love one's.
Ladies we know we're in a fight, that's why we're praying, but it's not just about the fight. It goes beyond the fight. What's on the other side? Victory in Christ! Like children of Israel, we gain the Promise Land. Yes, they had to fight to gain the land but it was already theirs because He gave it to them. If we persist in prayer, what do we inherit and our love one's. A closer relationship with Christ, we get to the know the one and true living God.
That's why Paul could say in verse 38, I am persuaded...... I do believe that there is no power that can separate us from Christ. We believe the word, not the enemy or our circumstance or even how we're felling, but we see VICTORY on the other side of our prayers being answered!!!
Thank you Lord, because we do have VICTORY in YOU!
