Psalm19:1-4

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the sky displays his handiwork.
2 Day after day it speaks out;
night after night it reveals his greatness.
3 There is no actual speech or word,
nor is its voice literally heard.
4 Yet its voice echoes throughout the earth;
its words carry to the distant horizon.

I will thank the Lord with all my heart!
I will tell about all your amazing deeds!
2 I will be happy and rejoice in you!
I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One!
9 Consequently the Lord provides safety for the oppressed;
he provides safety in times of trouble.
10 Your loyal followers trust in you,
for you, Lord, do not abandon those who seek your help.
11 Sing praises to the Lord, who rules in Zion!
Tell the nations what he has done!
14 Then I will tell about all your praiseworthy acts;
in the gates of Daughter Zion I will rejoice because of your deliverance.”

Hebrews 4:14-16

14 Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.

Isaiah 65:23-24

23 They will not work in vain,
or give birth to children that will experience disaster.
For the Lord will bless their children
and their descendants.
24 Before they even call out, I will respond;
while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 43:1-7

1 Now, this is what the Lord says,
the one who created you, O Jacob,
and formed you, O Israel:
“Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you.
I call you by name, you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I am with you;
when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not harm you.
3 For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your deliverer.
I have handed over Egypt as a ransom price,
Ethiopia and Seba in place of you.
4 Since you are precious and special in my sight,
and I love you,
I will hand over people in place of you,
nations in place of your life.
5 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
From the east I will bring your descendants;
from the west I will gather you.
6 I will say to the north, ‘Hand them over!’
and to the south, ‘Don’t hold any back!’
Bring my sons from distant lands,
and my daughters from the remote regions of the earth,
7 everyone who belongs to me,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed – yes, whom I made!

Psalm 65: 5-13

5 You answer our prayers by performing awesome acts of deliverance,
O God, our savior.
All the ends of the earth trust in you,
as well as those living across the wide seas.
6 You created the mountains by your power,
and demonstrated your strength.
7 You calm the raging seas
and their roaring waves,
as well as the commotion made by the nations.
8 Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts;
you cause those living in the east and west to praise you.
9 You visit the earth and give it rain;
you make it rich and fertile
with overflowing streams full of water.
You provide grain for them,
for you prepare the earth to yield its crops.
10 You saturate its furrows,
and soak its plowed ground.
With rain showers you soften its soil,
and make its crops grow.
11 You crown the year with your good blessings,
and you leave abundance in your wake.
12 The pastures in the wilderness glisten with moisture,
and the hills are clothed with joy.
13 The meadows are clothed with sheep,
and the valleys are covered with grain.
They shout joyfully, yes, they sing.

Seven Things to pray for your children

http://www.desiringgod.org/blog/posts/seven-things-to-pray-for-your-children

So, here are seven helpful, specific things to pray for your children:
1. That Jesus will call them and no one will hinder them from coming.
Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid his hands on them and went away. (Matthew 19:13–15)
2. That they will respond in faith to Jesus’s faithful, persistent call.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
3. That they will experience sanctification through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit and will increasingly desire to fulfill the greatest commandments.
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37-39)
4. That they will not be unequally yoked in intimate relationships, especially marriage.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)
5. That their thoughts will be pure.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.(Philippians 4:8)
6. That their hearts will be stirred to give generously to the Lord’s work.
All the men and women, the people of Israel, whose heart moved them to bring anything for the work that the Lord had commanded by Moses to be done brought it as a freewill offering to the Lord. (Exodus 35:29)
7. That when the time is right, they will GO!
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Psalm 86:6-13

6Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
And attend to the voice of my supplications.
7In the day of my trouble I will call upon You,
For You will answer me.
8Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord;
Nor are there any works like Your works.
9All nations whom You have made
Shall come and worship before You, O Lord,
And shall glorify Your name.
10For You are great, and do wondrous things;
You alone are God.
11Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name.
12I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And I will glorify Your name forevermore.
13For great is Your mercy toward me,
And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

Father, will you meet me here. Lord, creator over everything, I bring you praise, honor and glory. The God that holds everything in palms of his hand, how can I not trust you with every name on this list. You know the road they have taken, guide, direct with your hand. I pray it would be filled with mercy and grace. Cover them with your precious blood, your blood that was shed on Calvary. You have power to save, change and transform every life here. Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, because I know you will, because that's your heart, for everyman to live the life you created to live.

Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Thank You Lord, for reminding me.

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

Leviticus 10:1

“Come unto Me,” Jesus said, “all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; . . . and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:28–29). Why, then, are so many “mature” Christians burned out by their ministry to Him and their service for Him?

I believe Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, give us the answer. Having been eyewitnesses to the glory of God filling the Tabernacle, and having seen the flames, having smelled the smoke of the fire from Heaven mystically and miraculously igniting the sacrifice upon the altar, it is understandable why Nadab and Abihu would be eager to join their famous father in ministry, to play a pivotal part in the “holy happening” unfolding before their eyes. After all, they had gone through the process of preparation and surely now was the time to begin, their time to shine. So they lit their censers and set out to take part in the celebration.

The problem, however, was that Nadab and Abihu lit their censers with strange fire. Strange fire is from any source other than the altar which burned continually and which speaks of Calvary.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. - 2 Corinthians 5:14–15

What Christ did on the altar of Calvary was that which motivated Paul day after day, year after year - for the love of Christ is a fire that never burns out.

Some people involve themselves in ministry simply because they want to be part of the action. But when the action shifts somewhere else, they shift along with it, leaving ministry behind. Others have a need to be used, so they serve the Lord to fulfill their own need. But when they’re needed somewhere else, ministry takes a back seat. Still others serve the Lord out of concern for the lost. But when the lost don’t respond as quickly as hoped, they eventually give up ministering altogether.

Ministry for ministry’s sake, ministry for fulfillment’s sake, or ministry for others’ sake is all strange fire that will eventually burn people out.

The only fire that will never burn one out is the fire from the altar of Calvary. Those who, like Paul, are constrained, motivated, and compelled by the love Christ demonstrated on Calvary will still be serving Him with passion, with effectiveness, and with intensity when they draw their last breath this side of eternity.

How can one keep from the Nadab and Abihu mentality? The simplest way is to go to the altar - the Lord’s Table - over and over again and remember what Christ Jesus did for us. When we bow our knee and commune with the Lord, when we handle His broken body and drink of His shed blood, all the dials are set back to zero as we remember the price He paid so willingly and lovingly.

Lift My Hands And Pray!

My father in heaven, I lift up these names to you. Sometimes not even knowing where to begin. Lord, Jesus you sit up there praying to the father in my behalf. My heart cry's out, wanting to see transformation, by the power of your Spirit. Holy Spirit draw them to Father, with mercy and grace. Direct and guide their paths, even tho they might go to the right or to the left. Keep them close to you, there is know better place. How I want them to know how wide and deep your love is for them. The cross Lord, may they know the power of the cross, that sin no longer reigns in their lives. Set them free, may they run from it and run into your arms, your sweet arms.
In your precious name, Jesus

Lord, I just come before you lifting up our sons and daughters to you. I thank you for who you are. The one who as the power to deliver, restore, renew. I pray you would guide, direct with your mighty hand. I pray salvation, Holy Spirit draw them to the father, convict them of their sins. That is what the word says, that you came to convict the world of their sins. Lord, keep them close to you. We pray that enemy would not have a strong hold on their lives. Deliver them, lose the chains that enslave them. Set them free by the power of the cross. Cover them with precious blood of the lamb. Thank you for the cross. Lord give me wisdom, when to speak and not to. We need your grace and mercy over all our lives. Fill me your Spirit, guide me with your hand.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 20: 4-5

4May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
